The answer...

Trying to guess what Daddy was wearing in yesterdays post was too easy! MOL... But he did look funny!

Here's us playing with our new toy, the Tunnel!

Silly Daddy! MOL!

Daddy must have forgotten that any photo Mummy takes there is a good chance that it will be shown on our blog. So when he asked her to take this photo, do you think he considered the above fact? MOL...

Have a guess at what he is wearing. We'll show you what it is in tomorrows post!

Jealous? Not!

Mummy only showed you photos of her and Nishiko on Wednesday's post... I'm not jealous... well maybe a little... But Mummy said that today's post can be all about Me! Meow! So here are some photos of Me with my new harness on, out and about in our community garden.

We have seen a black cat in our community garden. He wears a red collar and I do not like him. He smells different and so I will sit in the grass and growl and hiss at him when he tries to com near to Me or Nishiko.

There are a lot of interesting smells in the community garden. Mummy says that I blend in to the brick work. But I'm not sure what she means by that.

I like to just sit at times and keep an eye on my surroundings. You can see that my fur is growing back on the bold patch where I had my Ladygardenectomy.

I like sunny days. We have had a few but now the sun has disappeared behind the clouds. I hope it comes back soon!

Wordy Wednesday - Celebrating National Pet Month Week 2

From 2 April to 2 May 2011, thousands of people in the UK will be celebrating life with their pets. Why? Because it is National Pet Month!

It is said that pets are a great benefit to their owner's health. They can help us heal on an emotional, physical and mental level; and it is beleived that they can also help us to fight disease and assist us in coping with chronic conditions.

I appreciate the time I spend with Xanthe and Nishiko. They are my little healers, having suffered from frequent migraines and bouts of depression, amongst other aches and pains, they would always be there looking after me, sitting on my lap or snuggling up to me on the bed, putting a smile back on my face when I've been at my worst.

Here are a few pictures of Nishiko doing what they do best... making me smile! Lol...

To celebrate National Pet Month with me, why not use Wordy Wednesday for the next four weeks to tell everyone how your precious Kitizens, Woofies and other Furries have enriched your life?

What is Bengali up to?

This is Bengali, he's been my furiend since kittenhood. As you can see he is taking a look at my new favourite toy, as mentioned in Friday's post 'I'm Ninja Nishi'. There is a treat still left in my ball!

What are you up to Bengali? You can't fit in my ball!

He's jealous because I spend too much time with my ball and now he won't let me have the last treat in side it!

How annoying!

Tweeting at Twitter

Mummy spent most of the weekend trying to find our Twitter page. She lost it. Couldn't remember the email address or password. After 2 days she finally figured it out and we are now back, tweeting on Twitter!

I'm Ninja Nishi!

I'm so clever. Mummy says that I am a Ninja at times. Ninja Nishi!

Mummy got Me, I mean My Dear Xanthe and Me a new toy last week and I'm really clever with it. My Dear Xanthe hasn't managed to fathom it out yet. It's a ball with a hole and inside the ball Mummy puts our treats. At first I was thinking 'why are you locking away our treat in a ball? But then I started rolling it about on the floor and a treat came out. I rolled it again and again and I got more treats. The ball gives me treats for playing with it. So now it's my favourite toy! I asked Mummy to make a movie because I want to share it with all my Kitizen Furiends...

What do you think?

Wordy Wednesday

From 2 April to 2 May 2011, thousands of people up and down the UK will be celebrating life with their pets, spreading the word on responsible pet ownership or raising money for their favourite charity in fun-filled events. Why? Because it is National Pet Month!

Our lives have been enriched by our gorgeous girls, Nishiko and Xanthe, since they first arrived together into our home as 7 week old kittens back in July 2009... Here are parts of the very first videos we took of them. Nishiko was sound asleep in their bed while Xanthe was wide awake, keeping us up rather late that first evening with them...

To celebrate National Pet Month with me, why not use Wordy Wednesday for the next four weeks to tell everyone how your precious Kitizens, Woofies and other Furries have enriched your life?

Clowning Around?

This is a photo of Me, Mummy and Daddy from last week, when I had The Big Cone on the day before it came off. Mummy and Daddy were trying to cheer me up but as you can see I wasn't too impressed with Daddy's clowning around...

So when he left the bedroom, I decided to curl up on Mummy's back and listen while she was read 'Your Cat' Magazine to Me.

Movie Monday! Yay!

It's been a couple of weeks since we had a movie on the blog - due to our Ladygardenectomies, Mummy wanted to concentrate on getting us both better so that we could get blogging as soon as possible!

Good Patient, Bad Patient

Meow to All!

I'm back! Purrs...

Mummy and Daddy have done a very good job of being Mummy Nurse and Daddy Doctor. They have looked after me well despite Mummy worrying about me, Daddy was very patient. But they both thought that I was a worse Kitizen Patient than My Dear Xanthe... I wonder why?

I was very scared and didn't understand how the Garden Gnome could have left me with such a nasty looking scar and the V.E.T. is just a horrible place to go to and I had to go three times! Plus Xanthe was having a go at me for smelling really nasty. But I couldn't help it and I apologised to her that I had treated her in the same way when she had The Cone on.

The Cone... What a nasty thing it is and I had three of them!

The Tiny Cone is the one that the V.E.T. put on me despite my fight for them not to. They told Mummy that as soon as I was awake I was messing around with my wound... It was horrible! They did not do a great job and it was all bumpy and very very sore!

The Cone - this is the one that Xanthe had when she came back from her Ladygardenectomy. It was just bearable but I got my mouth stuck under it one night when I was trying to clean my neck and Mummy had to help Me get it off. We were both in a panic about it but then...

The Large Cone was the final enemy! I could not get it off, I had more difficulty eating and drinking and so I spent most of the time cuddling up to Mummy and Daddy on the bed.

I am so happy that all of that is over now and I can be my self again.

Nishi has gone...

*evil laugh* Nishiko has gone to see the Garden Gnome today and when she comes back I shall hiss at her and call her smelly just like she did to Me last week! *evil laugh*

I've just got back from the V-E-T, my stitches are out and The Cone is off! I now need some Me time before Nishiko comes back this evening, to wash! Yes at last I can go though hair by hair, getting rid off all the dirt and smells that has built up over the last 10 days! I will be looking sparkling by the time Nishiko comes back tonight!

Nishiko wanted Me to say thank you to all kitizens, woofies and citizens who took part in Nishi's Big Red Nose Project, to help raise money for children with Malaria in Africa.

As promised yesterday  here is Me wearing my Big Red Nose!

And here is the Patchwork Blanket showing every furry who took part - sorry, it's not many!

Cone Head Xanthe and Big Red Nose Update...

Meow to All!

I would like to thank everyone for their purrs and headbutts.

This time last week I had to visit the Garden Gnome at the V-E-T... I didn't see him as the V-E-T sent me to sleep and when I woke up all I had to show that the Garden Gnome had been was a very big bald patch on my side! It is going to be ages before my fur grows back... I'm quite upset.

As you can see in the photos above I am sleeping peacefully with my new and frustrating body part: The Cone. Mummy assures me that this won't stay and will be removed this friday when I have my last visit to the V-E-T about my ladygardenectomy... Well thank ducking goodness for that!...

Nishi's Big Red Nose Project isn't going very well and I feel quite sorry for her as she was looking forward to helping children fight the battle against Malaria - see >>HERE<< for her post. But Mummy sat us both down and told us about the shake and big wave that took place in Japan last week... Nishiko and Me are both so shocked and sad about all the kitizens and citizens who have had to go to The Bridge early. But we are happy that our kitizens in Japan, Maru and in Taiwan, Adan and Lego are all ok. It gives us hope and we are both sending our purrs and purrayers to all kitizens and citizens who are still affected by the shake and big wave.

Please come back tomorrow to see Me sporting my Big Red Nose in Nishi's last Big Red Nose Post! I will be posting it for her as she will be having her ladygardenectomy! I told her to keep an eye out for that Garden Gnome!

Nishi's Big Red Nose!

Meow to All!

My Dear Xanthe and Me are ok. Xanthe has had her ladygardenectomy and is recovering well - although she looks scary to me with her cone hat and has a big bald patch on one side of her body, she smells funny and is sleeping a lot more. Me on the other paw has a poorly belly and I have to see the V-E-T again on friday... If my tummy is better I will be looking like My Dear Xanthe for a while too! But the good thing is that while Mummy and Daddy are wating for my tummy to get better, they are feeding Me chicken that is very yummy!

...

I have been waiting for fellow kitizens to send me their photos for My Fundraising Project to raise money for Red Nose Day. But I have been able to snoopervise Mummy putting Big Red Noses on the photos because we haven't received any...

Mummy has even made a video to explain the importance of Red Nose Day...

If you would like a Big Red Nose, here is what you will need to do...

1. Click our big banner above and make a donation.
2. Send your photo to Me at kittyscatchat@gmail.com.
3. Mummy will make your picture under my snoopervision.
5. Your picture will then be posted on Kitty's Cat Chat on Friday.

I said to Mummy that we still only have 98 pictures to do before we meet our target for Red Nose Day! I hope a lot of you will want to help? Don't forget that on Friday a special Red Nose Day post will be showing all Kitizens and Woofies and any other Furries, who have taken part, in one big picture like a patchwork blanket. How cool is that?

Nishiko

N.B. from Kitty: All Red Nose pictures will be posted on Kitty's Cat Chat Tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. For more information on Comic Relief please click the big banner above. We look forward to seeing you!

Sunday Special Post

Oh No!

We have just found out what Mummy got us yesterday before she went to see her Mummy and Grandparents!

It is not good either!

We're both going to the V-E-T on tuesday to have our lady gardens removed! We're going to have all our kitten plants taken out!

Mummy tried explaining it all to us but it was a little difficult to understand. Then she remembered seeing Harley post an explanation about it all on Daisy the Curly Cat.

Harley is a very intelligent kitizen! We read his post and was very surprised to learn about our gardens and kitten plants and the garden gnome!

We're just glad that we weill be asleep when it happens. But Mummy says that we won't be able to eat anything from tomorrow night!

No MEAT or FISH and no kitty bickies! When Mummy and Daddy are sleeping tomorrow night I'm going to wake them up with aa surprise!

Naughty Nishiko! You won't be able to wee on the bed because Mummy has already told me that she's locking us out because she thinks you will be planning something like that already!

Grrr!

I'm scared.

Me too.

But at least we will be together.

No Deals Today...

No deals from Me today. Mummy said that she is too busy to do them. I'm very upset. Mummy's getting better from feeling yucky everyday but it looks like Daddy is feeling like Mummy was. It is very unlike Daddy to feel yucky so My Dear Xanthe and Me are now looking after both of them! It doesn't bother Me too much because it means more time snuggling up to them both on the bed at night. Meow!

Mummy told Me that she is going out to get My Dear Xanthe and Me something today before she goes to visit her Mummy and Grandparents. I'm so excited! I wonder what it could be? A new toy?! I can't wait to find out.

Here are some photos of Me looking after Mummy.

I make Mummy smile and feel good when she feels yucky. I'm so cool!

The Fight Against The Germ Mans

My Dear Xanthe and Me were allowed in the bedroom again last night.

Mummy is still full of the yucky stuff.

Now Mummy told me that the Germs Mans could not be seen by human eyes or cat eyes, but she forgot about cat noses! I fought off those Terrible Germ Mans last night and Mummy was able to get it on film! Take a look at my fight witht he Germ Mans!

Wordy Wednesday

OMC! I love it when Mummy is poorly!

It's because I am allowed in the bedroom. I'm allowed on the bed. I'm allowed to fall asleep with Mummy, keeping her safe from the Germ Mans...

Here I am making sure that Mummy has enough water and tissues to fight them off...

Then I had to check the blanks for cold spots and warm them up for her...

Then I kept watch while Mummy was asleep. But I didn't see any Germ Mans...

Mummy said the the Germ Mans are very tiny and can't been seen by human eyes or cat eyes! She said I did a great job keeping her company though...
